These Terms and Conditions govern your use of My Home Ahead, including its website, planning tools and related services.
My Home Ahead is operated by The White Landscape, referred to as “My Home Ahead”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
By using My Home Ahead, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of the Service
My Home Ahead helps users organise home renovation projects. Its features may include budgets, schedules, tasks, payments, purchases, contractor information, quotations and project notes.
The Service is provided as a planning and organisational tool only.
2. Not professional advice
My Home Ahead does not provide architectural, engineering, construction, interior-design, legal, financial, insurance or project-management advice.
Budgets, calculations, schedules, reminders and other outputs may not reflect your actual renovation costs, contractual obligations or project requirements.
You should verify important information and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.
3. Contractors and suppliers
My Home Ahead does not appoint, recommend, verify, supervise or guarantee any contractor, supplier, designer or other service provider.
You are responsible for conducting your own checks, reviewing quotations and contracts, confirming licences and insurance, and deciding whether a provider is suitable.
Any dispute concerning workmanship, delays, payments, products or services is between you and the relevant provider.
4. Your information
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you enter into the Service.
You retain ownership of your project information. You permit us to store and process it only as necessary to provide, secure and improve the Service.
You must not enter another person’s confidential or personal information unless you have a legitimate reason and any required permission.
5. Calculations and reminders
Calculations and project summaries depend on the information you provide and may contain errors.
Reminders and notifications may be delayed or not delivered. You remain responsible for verifying amounts, monitoring deadlines and managing your renovation project.
6. Data backups
You should keep independent copies of important documents, including quotations, contracts, invoices, receipts, plans and photographs.
We do not guarantee that project information will always be available, error-free or recoverable.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- access another user’s information without permission;
- upload malicious software;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
- copy, scrape or commercially exploit the Service; or
- infringe another person’s rights.
We may suspend access where necessary to protect the Service, its users or our legal rights.
8. Intellectual property
The software, design, branding, templates and content of My Home Ahead belong to The White Landscape or its licensors.
You may use them for their intended personal purpose but may not reproduce, sell or commercially exploit them without permission.
This does not affect your ownership of the information you enter.
9. Third-party services
The Service may contain third-party links, advertisements or integrations.
We do not control or endorse third-party services and are not responsible for their products, content, security or privacy practices.
10. Availability and liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete accuracy or freedom from technical errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from:
- inaccurate calculations or schedules;
- missed reminders;
- contractor or supplier conduct;
- renovation delays, defects or overspending;
- purchasing or payment decisions; or
- lost or corrupted project information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes and termination
We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict access where these Terms are seriously breached or where necessary for legal, security or operational reasons.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country.
